We know that every family has unique needs and circumstances during this historically unprecedented time. To meet the needs of our community Superintendent TenBrink shared information with families last week about 3 options for families for the 2020-2021school year.
Option 1 | Option 2 | Option 3 | |

Students may shift between learning options | Students may shift between learning options |
Option 1, Traditional, will have students physically in school for our normal school day and calendar. Option 2, Extended Traditional will have students at home participating in instructional virtually but at the same pace as the traditional school to allow for student’s to to transition back to traditional school when families feel ready. Option 3, is fully online through our Jenison International Academy and families would need to commit to at least one full semester online.
Supt. TenBrink will be communicating additional information regarding these plans soon. Then a survey will go out to families, so they can select the programming they prefer for the fall. It is imperative that families complete the survey once it goes out so we can work to ensure we have adequate staffing and are prepared to welcome students into all 3 programs on our first day of school August 25, 2020.
Pinewood Suggested Supply Lists 2020-2021

If students are participating in Option 1 Traditional, or Option 2 Extended Traditional linked below is the suggested student supply list for this school year. As always these supplies are only suggested and we will be sure all students have what they need. If you need anything you can reach out to Dr. Brown and all requests are confidential.

Food Service
On Monday, between 11:30-12:30 packets of free lunch and breakfast for any child under 18 will be distributed out of our Jenison High School parking lot, as it has been the last few weeks. I encourage any families to come and get these great meals for their kids.
As we look ahead to the 2020-2021 school year please take a moment to apply or re-apply for free or reduced lunch. These applications need to be completed each school year and even if your child rarely selects hot lunch applying helps our school.
