Last week, the Pinewood wildcats came together to honor our principal, Rachael Brown, for Bosses Day. Each student in the school took part to think of words that described Mrs. Brown. Some of the top picks were kind, smart, and helpful. We decorated her office with fall pumpkins to reflect the love that our school feels for her. She is Pinewood’s “Pick of the Patch.”

Students have also been collecting Socks all month of October for the less fortunate. Socks are in high need during the winter months at shelters and pantries, so Pinewood will be collecting them all of October. Our schools goal is 1000 socks! On Wednesday, we had a “Wacky Sock Day” to help promote Socktober.  The students and staff rocked some fun, colorful socks all day.
