I read a great article in the New York Times this week and my children and I have been enjoying answering some of the questions from it. It asks 11 questions about What Summer Means to You. I will share a few of our answer’s below I would love to hear what summer means to your family.
1. What Makes Summer, Summer For You?
My family and I love swimming in our pool and grilling outside together. We grow a garden each summer full of fresh vegetables and berries when we are outside enjoying the pool and snacking from the garden we know its summer time.
3. What Are You Reading This Summer?
I have finished three books so far, and working on my fourth, all are about education. My daughters are reading a lot this summer as well. Sara Jean is working on The Lemonade Crime by Jacqueline Davies. Dalila likes to go on to tumblebooks and be able to choose one she likes.
8. What Journeys Will You Take?
I’m getting very excited to go to China, but my family is not able to join me in China because I will be teaching the whole time I am there. Our family vacation we just took which we enjoyed hiking Red Rock Canyon and seeing the Hoover Dam.
